Just as temperature, this feature is highly configurable. The hydration system interacts with the temperature system. Be careful though, dirty water can get you thirsty easily. Purified water will give hydration saturation. Water can be stored in canteens. Each damage will be attributed as accurately as possible to a specific limb. Health Overhaul The Health Overhaul provides few features to both ease and improve the challenge around player health. First of all, it provides a way to increase the player maximum health via 2 new items : The Heart Fragments and the Heart Containers. ![hearts](https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/641cae51913bbaec16d89000bdd9776837ed8b7f.png) You can find Heart Fragments here : Buried Treasure Jungle Temple Abandoned Mineshaft Bastion Treasure It also introduces the concept of Broken Heart. ![broken](https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/1d2c85437c1d9fa0e42882bbfb838e0469c7ad65.png) Broken Hearts diminishes temporarly the player max health when a limb is fully damaged. Be aware to not let your limbs broken, as the number of Broken Hearts inflicted is proportional to the player maximum health. The Broken Hearts are countered by a newly introduced attribute : the Resilient Hearts. No matter how much Broken Hearts you get, the player will always keep its Resilient Hearts. Finally, the Health Overhaul allows the player to keep the "Absorption Heart" given by the Golden Apple under the name of Shield Hearts.
